* 1) Who are YOU? I am a senior, who on paper has not graduated yet but walked in the spring ceremony. 505 is my last class. My major is BSID - Product Design. I am mostly interested in Automotive Design, technology design, and other stuff that guys like, such as, weapons, video games, electronics, engines, sports, things like that. I am not interested in fashion, interior, or graphic design. One of my areas of expertise is car audio. I like to make tuned subwoofer boxes from mdf, fiberglass, and other good supporting materials.
* 2) What Inspires/”WOWs” YOU? New technology development or the lack of technology within the electronics industry is always an inspiration. I try not being so nerdy with electronics but the flashing LED’s draw me closer. I am not that bad though, some of my car audio is “old school”, which I will not be getting into due to the “nerdiness”.
* 3) Who, or What are your influences? Most of my influences come from doubts or people telling me that I cannot do something. I like to overcome the objections, but not rub it into someone’s face.
* 4) What is your Vision or HOPE in your life(time): academically; professionally; and/or socially? I am a rare breed of designer, in that, I do not care about being famous, changing the world, or being extravagantly rich. I would rather be happy with the people around me than continually search for new things. Academically I am undecided, on one hand I want to make it in this world without an education (which I have done so far), on the other, I wish to get my PhD to know more about the world. Professionally I want to be my own creator. I do not want any free rides to success but would rather work for them and learn in the process. I want to have my own business so that I can truly say that I am creating / working for myself. Socially I wish to have people think of me as just a nice person, although this may come seldom with my demeanor. I am very laidback, even-tempered and rarely angry. I try to find the finer points in life especially in the hard times. I look into the future, not the past. I care more of what I am doing or going to do, rather than what I have done.
